In my home configuration I use a main PC along with two secondary ones that share network drives accessible from the main machine. One drive has always worked smoothly, while the other occasionally connects but fails after a reboot—usually because of a Windows update. After rebooting the main PC, it reverts to the issue, showing no clear pattern. The only noticeable distinction is that the always-connected system runs Windows 10 Pro 1709, whereas the problematic one uses 1803. I've also tested remote access into the working PC (1709) and been able to connect without issues, suggesting the problem lies on my primary machine.
