I attempted to assemble a new PC with an Intel i5 12600K, 32GB RAM, MSI Z690-A PRO WIFI DDR4, and a cooler master 650 80 plus bronze. I wanted to test components before fitting them into the case. The motherboard isn’t showing up, and there’s no display on the monitor. I changed the CPU slots, tried different RAM slots, and even reset the EZ DEBUG light switching between red and green LEDs without any changes. I also flashed various BIOS versions but had no luck. This is really frustrating—I’ve never faced an issue like this before. If you have any suggestions or solutions, please let me know. Thanks in advance! I attempted to reset the CMOS and removed the battery to confirm it cleared the issue, but the problem persisted.
It occurred before on an old B150 MSI board and it was repeating the same flashing from CPU to memory. This was due to insufficient pressure from the CPU to maintain proper contact, so ensure your screws are secure but not overly tight. Using coolers with springs helps avoid over-tightening them.
I’ll give it a shot, as you can tell my cooler lacks springs but I’ve tightened the screws completely. It’s an Arctic Freezer 34 Esport Dou.
It's possible that omitting both CPU_PWR1 and CPU_PWR2 could lead to issues, even if the manual didn't specify clearly. I'll definitely switch to a different power supply just to be safe.
