Problem with MSI X570 BIOS Update AGESA 1190
Update your X570 to the newest BIOS version AGESA 1.1.9.0. After powering on, you noticed your motherboard TDC and EDC are restricted to 90A and 140A in PBO Enhance Mode, while they were previously at 210A. Although my single core now handles higher loads and reaches peak speeds more often with the updated BIOS, multicore performance has dropped noticeably by 20%. This reduction seems intentional rather than a bug. My L3 cache speed is halved again under this new BIOS, which might be connected to the lower current limits. I understand that TDC and EDC can be adjusted in PBO advance mode, but even with identical curve offsets and maximum clock overrides, my CPU doesn’t boost as much as in enhance mode. What distinguishes PBO Enhance Mode from advance mode? Is this also deliberate or a problem?
