Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out a tricky issue with my laptop. I recently upgraded it with an internal SSD and thought I was ready. Since I live in a small area without local repair shops, I decided to tackle this myself. I followed some installation videos, unplugged the battery, cleaned the board with alcohol and a dusting tool, removed and reinstalled the battery, then put the SSD in. After reassembly, I checked for any damage but found everything seemed fine. When I tried to power it up, nothing happened—both the charger and battery didn’t light up. I also noticed one of the chips near the charging port was overheating. I’m reaching out for advice from anyone who might have faced similar problems or suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks in advance for your help!

1: What percentage of ISO ALC?
2: Did you unplug the screen?

It was a 90% isopropyl alcohol.
I didn’t do it, I realized you need to unplug your battery. Does not connecting the screen affect your laptop?
