Consider checking your Wi-Fi settings and recently connected networks. It might be that your Mac is acting as a forwarding or bridge for the iPhone. I’m not sure, but it could be because the iPhone was detected as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Either way, you’ll likely need to investigate the preferences and settings.

consider experimenting with network settings. check recent Wi-Fi connections since most people tend to auto-connect to known networks. after traveling often, there will be numerous devices and sites you’ve linked to over time—hotels, airports, trains, etc. refresh your IP address in the prefs and inspect the list. if anything seems suspicious, adjust accordingly. in extreme cases, you might need to log in again or physically reconnect via a cable.
