The screw is lodged in the standoff, making it hard to remove. You tried using a tool to shorten the standoff, but now you can't turn the screw or pull it out safely. There might be a better way to free it without damaging anything.

Use a tiny screwdriver or locate the standoff, then grab pliers with sharp teeth.

The screw is completely stripped and probably won’t come out with a screwdriver. Try using a plier instead.
