I have a query about the Lenovo Legion Y540 15” with RTX 2060 and i7-9750H. I recently purchased it and mainly use Warzone, but I’m finding it hard to hit high frame rates—especially on low/medium settings. I’ve disabled v-sync and other features, yet I still see around 75fps and 60fps in the downtown area. Can I improve my performance without overheating?

It seems the laptop is experiencing temperature problems, leading to performance drops during gaming and making it a less enjoyable computing experience.

You can't directly modify MSI Afterburner or BIOS settings once your laptop is set up for college use.

Reduce the voltage and keep the internal space tidy. Raising the laptop's back a bit can improve airflow. However, this appears to be a faulty unit from its original production. It wasn't suggested as a purchase at launch due to these issues.
