I've linked a PC for simulation and another laptop to control it via Wi-Fi. At first everything functioned smoothly, but now the laptop occasionally fails to send or receive packets, causing the connection to freeze. I can't issue commands or get any input from the PC. Turning off and back on the Wi-Fi adapter resolves the problem temporarily, though it returns after a while. Your IP address is set permanently—this might be why it's behaving unpredictably when reconnecting. Any advice?

When functioning but ceasing operation without any adjustments to network configurations, restart the router or verify your devices for potential software issues.
