Hey everyone, just started working on replacing the power port on my Lenovo. Thanks for the tips—I managed to remove the x230 using a YouTube tutorial. The only problem is that after rebuilding, it still isn’t charging properly. The laptop functions normally, but the issue persists. I’m pretty sure the problem lies with the power port itself, not the cable. I’ve stripped it down again and would appreciate some advice before I start rebuilding. Thanks a lot, Dave!

Check if the battery is functioning. If not, it could have been turned off by the device.

Unplugged the laptop again, but nothing changed. Placing the old power port back in might help—see if it resolves the issue.
