Problem with Lenovo C320 AiO device
I'm reinstalling my Nans 2014 on a single PC. Lenovo isn't supporting it anymore since it's past warranty, but it's essential for her volunteer work. She mentioned the power supply would stay active after shutdown on Windows 10, and the only way to shut it down was via the power cord. Once I connected an external keyboard, it would light up but then turn off after a few presses. I sometimes hear the Windows startup sound. Yesterday I took a photo and it functioned briefly until I powered it down, after which it wouldn't restart. Could this be a power supply problem? It seems to use an external unit similar to a laptop, but the internal connector might be faulty. In November 2021 I added 4GB of RAM and replaced the failing HDD with an SSD, yet the issue persists. Recently I cleaned the fans and reapplied thermal paste, but it's still the same. Attached are photos of the PSU and the device.
a failing power source showing inconsistent performance might help clarify its erratic behavior. it operates around 19 volts at roughly 6 amps, delivering about 100 watts—typical power levels you'd expect. you could look for a more affordable version to test and replace it if needed.
