This situation is really frustrating for me.
On a new computer I was preparing to move, I made sure everything was set up so I could play Division 2 co-op without issues.
Recently, I tried running a session and two things went wrong:
1. Windows 10 started updating automatically.
2. Ubisoft Connect also updated itself.
The problems began right away.

What I did:
1. Restarted from a Windows 10 copy on another drive—same issue occurred.
2. Reinstalled the graphics drivers just in case—still no improvement.
3. Ran other Ubisoft titles; none worked and all computers restarted.
4. Played Steam games without issues.

When launching Ubisoft games, I usually see messages like:
- "Launching your game."
- "Syncing achievements with the cloud."
- "Splash screen for EAC" (if needed).
- Sometimes a delay before the splash appears.

After this, the game just shows "launching your game," then the screen goes black and the PC restarts.
I only see one message, followed by a reboot after a few seconds.

Based on what should happen, I suspect the game didn’t even start properly because there’s no splash screen that appears later.
I’m running out of ideas and would appreciate any suggestions or assistance. I’ve already reported this to Ubisoft, but it often doesn’t help.

The issue was resolved after several hours of work.
It appears the updated Ubisoft connection did not recognize a setting in my BIOS.

Can you share what bios setting? In case someone else has this problem.

I don't really understand, but it seems irrelevant since I found out that prime95 stress test (just the top two) caused the computer to restart in the same way.
Then I thought maybe some wrong OC settings were responsible, so I reset to the default settings and only configured d.o.c.p.
The issue was that the MB was unstable; I was surprised because Division 2 had run a few days earlier without any changes, and all steam games worked perfectly.
Whatever Ubisoft Connect did during launch must have been similar to the L1 and L2 tests that prime95 performs.
It's strange—I didn't actually run an OC, but I followed some basic tips for my Asus Dark hero.
I wouldn't think this would impact others, just make sure stress tests pass since the MB usually works fine in most cases until it gets pushed too far.
A lesson learned for me.
