Brings me right back to Rockstar Support. I've already used it before. They didn't help much.

It seems many users are experiencing problems with Rockstar titles on PC, especially with the latest RDR2 and GTA5 releases. While it might not be a universal issue, there’s definitely a noticeable pattern of difficulties for some players.

The Rockstar Games launcher shouldn't be interacted with if you already own the game on Steam—it will launch automatically when you open it. If it doesn’t start, reinstall the launcher and download a fresh version. The PC launcher also tends to perform poorly overall. I’ve experienced this firsthand.
