Hi,
My laptop is an Acer Nitro AN515-52 with 8GB RAM. I’m attempting an upgrade by adding another 8GB stick, bringing the total to 16GB.
I purchased a Crucial 8GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM module, which seems compatible and similar.
Despite following the installation steps correctly, the screen remains black and the laptop fails to boot. I’ve tried swapping slots and installing the new RAM separately, but the problem persists. (I’m confident the setup was done properly.)
The system only boots when using the original RAM.
I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

My laptop is an Acer Nitro AN515-52 with 8GB RAM.
Using the older RAM module, access the support site at www by entering your laptop's serial number on the bottom and verify if any BIOS updates are required.
I purchased a Crucial 8GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM module, which matches and is compatible.
Does the RAM stick from your laptop match the one you bought?
Please share images of both RAM sticks side by side, upload them to a platform like Imgur, and send the link for review. Taking photos of each side would be helpful.

Crucial doesn't list an 8GB/2666 RAM stick for that PC.
Check the Crucial website and use their scanner to verify compatibility.

it works well, according to the laptop's main RAM details. I also verified on Kingston's site that the same RAM models are listed as compatible. Check the images below for confirmation.

Display an image of the important scanner showing the RAM you purchased is compatible.
