Another update: For those who are curious or face similar issues, after testing a wired connection with another router, the performance matched wireless results. I examined every port on the Archer A8, hoping for improvement, but all gave consistent speeds between 0.20 and 0.30 Mbps. The only variation was slight differences in speed across ports, ranging from +0.05 to +0.10 Mbps. It seems the Ethernet switch chip or related components might have failed, possibly due to power fluctuations when I wasn’t home. I wonder if TP-Link’s support is more reliable than MSI or Gigabyte.
