Following several Windows 10 updates my keyboard stopped responding in the Start Menu. I typically search for the app or type it into the search bar at the bottom right. I discovered a workaround online. Navigate to Computer Management, then Services, touch type keyboard inputs, set start-up type to automatic and apply changes. It functioned temporarily but after each restart the setting reverts to manual from automatic. This issue only appears after a restart, not after a shutdown. What might be causing this? Thank you.

Consider a potential solution by generating a minimal batch script that changes the service startup mode to automatic, referencing the provided guide. Then set up a scheduled job to execute this script during login.
