He recently got a new laptop, and most updates seem to be applied. The Task Manager appears to work fine, but Discord experiences major delays and frequent disconnections. On his old laptop, the issue doesn’t occur. Checking internet drivers didn’t resolve the problem, and reinstalling them hasn’t helped either. It’s confusing what to do next.

Does he experience problems keeping connected to his computer through other programs, Steam, or similar services? If Discord is the main concern, consider sharing your issue in the Discord Forum for assistance https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/com...Management

You link to the web using either Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. Are other devices experiencing issues or just this one? For troubleshooting, visit https://www.speedtest.net/ to check your speed. To reset the network on your computer, open Settings → Network → Internet → Advanced → Network Settings → Reset Network or click Reset Now. You can also restart the router by unplugging it for about 15 seconds, then plugging it back in and waiting 5 minutes before trying again. If multiple devices have problems, reach out to your ISP to verify the connection.
