Problem with internet access.
Hello, your issue seems related to network configuration differences between devices. The Ethernet cable works fine, but the speeds vary depending on which device you connect it to. Make sure the port on your MacBook and desktop is correctly assigned to the correct network interface. Also, check if there are any driver updates for your Realtek PCIe GbE network card. If the problem persists, try connecting via a wired connection to rule out Wi-Fi interference.
GA-AB350-Gaming (version 1.x) corresponds to a Realtek GbE LAN chip supporting 10/100/1000 Mbit speeds. This is the mainboard; identifying the precise network card model inside may require further checks.
Sure, I understand. It makes sense to align with @BetteBalterZen on that point.
It was an older PC that ran smoothly with faster internet connections before. After reinstalling Windows and moving locations, things started to change. I also had a laptop that only supported 100mbps. At first I assumed the cable was the problem, but since it worked fine on my MacBook, that wasn't it. I tried downloading the network driver from my motherboard site, but it didn’t help.
