I've been struggling to get the system running smoothly, especially with newer games hitting the market. My CPU is hitting its limits, and I wanted to push it further using OC Genie 4. But when I tried to install the tool, it kept failing with an error about another program running. I checked for conflicts, removed MSI Utilities, disabled OC Genie in BIOS, and even reinstalled drivers, but nothing seems to be working. I’m not sure what’s causing the issue—Event Viewer shows no clear signs. I’ve tried everything from updating software to checking for background apps. Need some guidance on how to resolve this.

Refresh your system info and upgrade the firmware for your current chipset to the newest version.

Thank you for the idea, I'll revise my previous comment. All firmware is confirmed current, so no adjustments needed.

Alright, welcome! If the firmware or VBIO update didn’t work, you might try removing it completely and reinstalling it. From the screenshot, it looks like some necessary files aren’t loading—make sure everything is in place before proceeding.

Thank you, unfortunately that hasn't improved things either.

It's possible the adjustments Genie introduced remain even after turning it off, requiring you to restore Auto mode in the BIOS so XTU can manage them properly.

I just restarted and verified, the only adjustment I made was to "Auto." It still hasn't updated. Appreciate the help!

How much personalization has been applied to the BIOS? An alternative approach would be to reinitialize the BIOS and test whether XTU functions correctly.

Besides boot order, I didn't alter anything else. I used OC Genie 4, and then disabled it. I can reset it, but I haven't made any other adjustments that might affect it.

I want to check if restoring everything to its original state would cause any trouble, but it seems unlikely. I’d attempt a BIOS reset and test whether XTU functions properly afterward.
