Hi everyone, I recently reinstalled everything to fix the speed issues I’ve been facing. All problems are resolved now, but when I open the downloads folder from the taskbar or elsewhere, the explorer icon still appears as an empty page most of the time—this persists even after a system restart or reboot. Any ideas or solutions? Thanks, Jack. P.S. Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

It's good to hear that. I've faced a similar issue, though it tends to appear later. It might be a simple bug in explorer.exe.
