Adjust the BIOS settings and proceed. You're welcome to add VMs as needed. ----note - That suggests the VM is configured for PXE booting from the network, likely within your hypervisor environment.

Begin with VirtualBox and verify the boot priority to ensure the virtual disk image appears first.

Your ISO doesn't necessarily need to be on the separate HDD; it can be stored elsewhere as long as you configure your VM correctly.

I haven't worked with Hyper-V much; I usually rely on Oracle VirtualBox. However, imagine your ISO file could be accessed from any location.

Absolutely, that design choice works well. And yes, you can definitely install the operating system later once the virtual machine is set up.

Attempted to open the setup file using WinRAR, but it reported corruption. I’ll re-download it and continue from there.
