Problem with HP Envy x360 fan not rotating until restart.
Problem with HP Envy x360 fan not rotating until restart.
Hey everyone, I'm facing a problem where the cooling fan on my new HP Envy x360 stops working and the laptop gets extremely hot. The temperature sensor shows it's over 100°C and the chassis feels too warm to touch. Usually I use an external keyboard and mouse, so I only notice after it starts getting damaged. After turning it off and on again, the fans usually return to normal. I haven't found a clear pattern or specific trigger for this issue, and after some research it doesn’t seem like a common problem for this model. There are no overheating warnings or errors reported. My laptop details: AMD Ryzen 7 4700U, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 10.
It seems there might have been an issue with the device not responding. I'm reaching out to HP's support team to investigate and hopefully find a solution. While it can be frustrating dealing with customer service, the original manufacturer is likely the best option for resolving this kind of problem, particularly if you need a repair or replacement.
Have you ever managed to fix this problem? I’m facing the same issue again, just like before.
I checked and couldn't fix it. The same issue appears on your end.
Same issue continues. My keyboard and trackpad stop working occasionally even after switching to convertible mode with external devices for some time. I have to restart to resolve the problem.
