Hi Team
I'm experiencing an issue with my Asus Mini PC PB60V running Windows 11 Pro and connecting an HDMI display. The monitor functions normally until the POST screen appears, after which it enters standby mode with an amber light flashing while Windows loads. VGA output works without any problems. After checking, I discovered that HDMI only connects when the system uses the Microsoft Basic Display Driver. However, once Windows automatically switches to the Intel UHD Graphics 630 driver, the HDMI connection stops working again. Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

It seems like this might be an issue with the resolution or refresh settings. If it functions on VGA, adjusting the display settings and experimenting with changes could help determine if HDMI compatibility is affected.

I verified several displays and confirmed consistency after the POST screen.

This leads me to believe there may be a mismatch between the resolution and refresh rate, or that the HDMI cable isn't suitable for the settings you're trying.

Have you experimented with a DisplayPort cable for your monitor instead of HDMI? If this approach fails, it could indicate faulty configuration files or corrupted Windows system files. Consider uninstalling the display driver via safe mode to eliminate the current Intel driver and, importantly, the Intel display driver settings. If the issue persists, it might require fixing a setting in Windows using DISM and sfc /scannow, as the display configuration files—and potentially other drivers—could be corrupted.

Here are the steps for using DDU: the Intel driver download page is included there.
