You're experiencing issues with flashing your EVGA 780 using nvflash. The EEPROM protection function failing and the Falcon reset control being blocked are common when updating firmware. Try checking your USB connection, ensuring the correct driver is installed, and verifying your BIOS settings. If the problem persists, consider reinstalling the flasher software or consulting EVGA support for version-specific fixes.

The Microsoft display adapter is already turned off in the Device Manager.

Prolly should be tested with a different configuration. It seems unnecessary to disable it when it appears as the sole display adapter.

Bios updates might stop working if too much of the card fails. This is especially noticeable with horizontal lines, indicating dead or failing memory that may misinterpret its state. Protectoff in NVflash doesn't handle all available protections.

I removed all my software for it. The latest versions after that release would be best. I had to test several updates to get it working. As noted before, if the card has problems and isn't recognized, it won't function properly.
