I experienced slow texture loading in GTA V, especially near the camera. Layers appear one by one, often using a mesh style, which causes visible seams. This becomes frustrating after just 30 minutes. My friends have similar issues but with different GPUs—one uses an NVIDIA card, the other an AMD. I’m on Windows 10 version 15.7.1 and ran into this problem even with older hardware. The issue didn’t seem to depend much on drive speed, though someone with a newer GPU and old PC still had smooth performance. I tried matching their graphics settings, but the problem persisted. It’s disappointing seeing great visuals only to have poor quality when loading. Any advice? I’ve reinstalled twice already. Now the game crashes and shows error messages—should I reinstall it too?

The Athlon X4 and 260X aren't meeting your needs.

The person who looks great in the game is essentially the same as the older 260X and FX-4100 versions.
