I assembled a new PC and it functions normally until under heavy load. During games or benchmark tests, the GPU usage surges significantly (refer to attached image). I've looked for fixes but haven't found a solution yet, so I'm seeking advice.

Have you attempted it without the riser cable?

I haven't tried it without the riser cable since doing so would mean dismantling the entire PC, which I assume is necessary (the challenges of SFF builds).

Tried it recently and it functions flawlessly without the cable, though the installation looks rough. Would a slightly larger case be simpler since it wouldn<|pad|> to fit without needing a riser?

If you can afford it, then yes. The riser cables appear a bit confusing to me. Unless you're considering trying another riser, as long as the return policy is favorable, that's fine.
