Hello everyone, I recently upgraded my computer with these details: CPU: Ryzen 5 7600 Motherboard: ASUS B650 PLUS BIOS: Version 1616 (latest) GPU: GTX 970 RAM: Kingston FURY Beast Black EXPO DDR5 16GB (2x8GB) 5600MT/s DDR5 CL36 DIMM Case: Corsair 4000D PSU: EVGA 600 BR, 80+ BRONZE 600W I’m facing a particular problem: when I power on the system, the GPU (GTX 970) isn’t detected by the BIOS and the main GPU is used instead. Windows still works once it boots. If I turn off the built-in GPU in BIOS, the display disappears during startup, but the OS still loads. The issue is that I can’t reach the BIOS settings because of this black screen at startup. I’m using Windows 10, 64-bit. I’ve tried restarting multiple times, verified all drivers are current, but it keeps happening. After a reset, I regained access by removing the CMOS battery to clear settings. Anyone have suggestions or solutions to fix this GPU detection problem with BIOS? Thanks in advance. EDIT: Sorry for the post—I realized the screen supports display ports over 1.2 and the older GPU needs a BIOS update: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-...pdate-x64/ If anyone needs help, let me know.
