You're experiencing issues where Afterburner resets GPU fans to 23% after a restart or shutdown. Your workaround involves uninstalling Afterburner, removing the graphics drivers, reinstalling them, and then regaining manual control. Are there other methods you've tried or would like to explore?
By default, the afterburner doesn't save custom configurations at startup. You can tap the small gear icon, select "Manual" beside the fan slider, and press apply to implement your settings. Alternatively, clicking the window icon will automatically use whatever you configured.
The slider remains locked at 23%. Adjusting it won’t change the value.
