Problem with Gigabyte motherboard showing incorrect initial display output.
Hello, I own two GPUs on my system—one for the primary operating system and another for virtualization. The first GPU in the first PCIe slot is dedicated to the OS, while the second is reserved for virtual machines. This setup means the OS doesn’t utilize it and there are no corresponding drivers installed. In the BIOS I see the "Initial Display Output" labeled as "PCIe 1 Slot," but sometimes it still attempts to boot from the second GPU. If it does, I have to power down the PC and try again. This process can take up to six attempts, which is quite frustrating. I’ve been dealing with this issue for months, and it’s really irritating. Hopefully, someone can help identify the problem. Details: Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 GAMING X Current BIOS: F37c (F37d is the latest, only AMD AGESA V2 to 1.2.0.7). Main GPU: 6900XT Second GPU: GTX 1060 (6GB)
