Problem with Gigabyte B560 USB device.
Problem with Gigabyte B560 USB device.
This may of been covered somewhere already, but I am unable to find any information on this. The mobo is a Gigabyte B560 DS3H AC-Y1 BIOS version is F9 with a 11700, 64GB of DDR4, RTX 3060 and a few drives all working fine. The issue I am having is some of the USB ports on the board and the two front USB ports are sometimes working and sometimes not. If I lift my mouse, I get the USB disconnect sound and the mouse cursor disappears. I've tried other ports, some are not even working at all. I've also tried switching mouse and same issue with each mouse. I also swapped PSU to an overkill 1050W. I was going to reinstall windows to see if that may of been an issue, but was unable for ANY USB port to recognize the flash drive. I have a sickening feeling that there may be an issue with mobo itself. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
It seems there could be an issue with the USB controller on the motherboard. Reinstalling Windows probably won't fix the problem. It might be worth trying.
