Hello everyone, I own a system with a Ryzen 5 5500U and its integrated graphics Radeon 7. It has 8 GB of RAM at 3200 MHz. After checking some YouTube benchmarks, I noticed GTA 5 ran around 50-60 FPS, but my performance is only about 250 FPS. I've tried overclocking using the AMD APU tuning tool and an AMD controller, plus a few basic adjustments, but nothing improved. Could you share some advice or solutions?

One RAM module? Order an additional 8GB at 3200MHz to enable dual-channel operation, which doubles the memory bandwidth and also enhances the GPU's performance.

Choose between an 8GB stick or a 2x4GB option.

Are you certain you’re applying identical video configurations in both Graphics and Advanced Graphics modes? Certain adjustments significantly impact performance, especially with elements like grass, shadows, anti-aliasing, and particles—while the Extended settings under Advanced Graphics also demand considerable processing power. If your setup matches precisely, then as noted by 191x7, do you utilize single or dual-channel RAM? Additionally, thermal throttling on your system might be reducing speeds and further affecting performance. You should monitor temperatures with HWiNFO.

These Ryzen CPUs face major limitations with RAM that doesn’t support dual-channel operation. The issue extends to the built-in GPU as well, because it relies on shared system memory.
