PC performed well with high or ultra settings initially. I upgraded to a higher resolution monitor, but experienced significant lag—around two seconds in Clair Obscure Expedition 33 after roughly fifteen minutes of playtime. Adjusting the settings didn’t help. After reinstalling drivers, performance improved back to medium-high. Playing Helldivers 2 last night brought the lag back and made it worse. Exp 33 still functions fine. What’s happening? Please advise.

I don’t have much info about your machine or its specifications, but it seems the issue might be related to frame rate. A good approach would be to adjust the display settings to a more suitable refresh rate—such as 240Hz or 165Hz—and in-game (or via Radeon Software), cap your FPS at 60, 120, or 144. This can help the game engine perform better. If you’re not using FreeSync, consider enabling Enhanced Sync to improve smoothness. I’ve heard mixed experiences with Helldivers on other platforms.
