I set up the TFTP server using TFTPD and tried to retrieve Archer C6 v2_TP_recovery dot bin via CMD, it worked fine. However, when using Wireshark on my router, I noticed incoming ARP packets for 192.168.0.66 but my device didn’t respond, so it didn’t proceed. I’m still getting the hang of this—spent over eight hours and think I’m starting to grasp things, but I’m confused about why my ARP packets aren’t being sent. I assume that’s why the router isn’t initiating the file request. I’ve kept the Windows firewall off and tried using portmaster, but since I’m currently offline, I’m disconnected from the internet as well. I disabled it just in case. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

TFTP is a simple file transfer method. It helped me fix my router after it stopped working. There was a brief chance when the device powered on that it would accept the transfer.

The router was indeed bricked. It seemed to work when connected to the first LAN port, but only after being plugged into the WAN port initially.
