I own a DarkProject KD104A keyboard. Occasionally when using Windows, the F1 function stops working until I launch the DarkProject application. Recently I switched to Fedora i3 spin and the F1 key isn't responding either. Since DarkProject doesn't offer Linux drivers, I'm limited in what I can do. I'm wondering if others have faced the same problem and it can be fixed without changing the F1 position elsewhere.

It's curious that the F1 key relies on a specific driver configuration... You can try linking the keycode to F1 if it registers as a keypress, otherwise you'll need to reverse engineer the hardware and build your own driver.

Absolutely, it doesn't detect the key press at all. Reverse engineering the keyboard sounds seems intriguing—time to explore further. Appreciate the help!
