Problem with Ethernet connection.
Problem with Ethernet connection.
I own an old PC with an Intel d945gccr motherboard. The yellow light stays on when I power it up, even without a connected LAN cable, but it turns off once the system boots. When I connect via LAN, I don’t see the green LED indicating activity, and I can’t establish a network connection. I’ve confirmed the Ethernet chip is Intel 82562g, yet the default driver in Windows 7 is Intel Pro 10/100 for networking. Installing the 82562g driver caused a 10 error. I’m a bit confused. Apologies for the poor English. Thank you ahead of time.
