I'm working with an ermax liqmax III on an intel i7 10700f with an asrock b460 pro 4 motherboard all under windows. When I boot up and open BIOS, I see the pump on cpu fan 1, but the temperatures stay at 100°C. I've tried connecting the pump to other headers, but it doesn't work. Recently I reapplied thermal paste, maybe the CPU block isn't properly seated, though I can't verify that because I don't have any thermal paste and all stores are closed. I'm unsure what to do next. The CPU only reached 100°C when I had the PC running before and then turned it off right away.

Is it newer? Enermax faced problems with slimemold in their aio units, leading to recalls. If yours is over two years old, it likely has this issue. It’s essentially Enermax, so check their response or consider replacing it for better compatibility.
