Problem with Dell Inspiron 7559 showing issues on HP Compaq LE1911.
The laptop screen started leaking, but the rest of the device still functions well. I’d rather delay replacing it until it lasts another few years. I connected an HDMI to VGA cable, assuming that would be enough. However, I noticed some videos suggesting an Active HDTV HDMI to VGA adapter is required, like this link: https://www.amazon.com/Rankie-HDMI-Adapt...C96&sr=1-3. I hope that with the adapter and a VGA to VGA cable it will start working properly. Thanks.
