I've attempted to turn on the XMP profile in the BIOS, but the computer repeatedly attempts to start and then reverts to the standard RAM speed (2166) before booting normally. All relevant components are listed here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hL9gmg. It seems the issue might be related to the power supply, as noted on the site—some motherboards have extra connectors for higher current needs, which this model lacks. This connector could support additional power, but without it, performance may drop under heavy loads like overclocking or high GPU usage.

Hmm, using slots 2 and 4 for RAM seems to have resolved the issue. Alright, ignore the rest.

I was caught off guard since dual channel really boosts RAM performance.

This was my first attempt at something similar, and I didn't realize how important the slot was.
