The RAM isn't responding at all. Every clip is accessible, everything is properly aligned, and nothing is obstructing it.

Ensure no obstructions are present and verify that the RAM is properly aligned with the slots (checking the notch on the RAM and the slot). If correct, gently press to secure it.

I purchased the identical RAM module as the previous one, yet it still doesn't click properly.

Starting the opening, adjusting the ram, and pressing equally on both sides consistently appear effective.

It seems you're describing a situation that could be seen as inappropriate. This brings back memories of a coworker asking me to demonstrate how to place a garbage can lid, which I declined. It's just a lid—just align it and apply pressure.

Check if it's positioned correctly by flipping it 180 degrees.

Then your board must be either broken or you're doing something wrong.. This is one of those cases where I wish I could just walk down to you and see what is going on, because if: a. you got the right ram for your board b. it's properly aligned c. neither part is broken it should just work, with enough pressure.

Confirming the motherboard specifications—do you want to verify it supports DDR4?
