Problem with DCP not functioning
Problem with DCP not functioning
I purchased my PC about two years ago and attempted the DOCP but it kept looping three times before resetting to default. I didn’t realize what was wrong until a few days ago when I checked the drivers and found a BIOS update needed. After installing it, I thought the issue might be related to the BIOS. I tried the DOCP again and still faced the same problem. Over the past two years, I replaced the motherboard once due to a power outage, but no other components were damaged. My current setup includes: Ryzen 7 3700X TUF Gaming, B550-PLUS G-Skill, 8GB RAM x2, 3600MHz clock speed. The problem is that it’s running at only 2133MHz instead of its intended frequency, and I’m looking for a way to unlock its full performance.
This might stem from a conflict between the RAM modules you own and the board's specifications. If DOCP fails and isn't related to software or firmware, it suggests your RAM isn't compatible. Check if it appears on the motherboard's compatibility list. The best way to confirm would be to try a different RAM set in the system and observe if DOCP functions correctly.
You might be correct. It doesn't appear on the QVL list for the board.
