I just began playing CS:GO again after a long hiatus. I chose to stream on Twitch, though I’ve noticed some problems. When I used to play many games, I got over 350 FPS, now it’s about 200. I upgraded my GPU from a GTX 960 to a GTX 1660 Super, which brought me around 250–300 FPS. Streaming has since dropped even more, landing near 130 FPS. What might be causing this significant decrease? Hardware: GPU – GTX 1660 Super CPU – Intel I7-4770S 3.10GHz RAM – 24GB and yes, I use NVIDIA NVENC. My guess is the CPU upgrade helped, but maybe not enough. All CSGO settings are set to low.

I question if the issue lies with the CPU. My sister also enjoys CS GO and uses Nvenc for streaming. The switch from 6.6GHz to 7.7GHz didn’t significantly affect her FPS. Have you experimented with both older and newer versions of Nvenc?

How much time has passed since you last played CSGO? There are new updates that have added more weight to the game.

I haven't tried the old Nvenc yet, I'll give it a shot, thanks.

There isn’t any suggestion to do that.
