Problem with CPU temperature
I own an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, assembled the second PC yesterday (second build). Everything from my initial setup works fine and there are no problems, even in AAA titles at full resolution. The issue arises with the new one I built last day, using similar components. Even when running Windows 10 in idle mode (only Ryzen Master or HWmonitor open), the CPU temperatures rise sharply and then drop. For instance, it jumps from 50°C to 65°C, reaching as high as 87°C—just monitoring the temperature gauges. To compare, the first PC stayed between 40-50°C under normal use, even during gaming sessions where it doesn’t hit the second model’s peak.
haven't attempted to take out the cooler yet. Just relying on the original coolers that came with them—probably the AMD Wraith cooler. I'm using two different cases for each PC: one works well (MSI Mag forge 100m case), the other has CPU issues (Sahara P35 RGB case). I tried taking off the glass panel to boost airflow, but it didn't help much. Something I observed is that the CPU cooler fan keeps spinning at the same speed, yet temperatures still rise and fall.
