Problem with CPU OC
Problem with CPU OC
Hello,
I recently installed a new PC and attempted to run the Msi Kobustor, but it would freeze and crash immediately after starting the stress test. I've tried various stress tests before. My CPUs were fluctuating wildly—from 1 GHz to 4 GHz—but after checking some forums and adjusting the CPU power settings in the power plan, the issue persists. Now that my CPU speeds have improved slightly to around 3.6 to 4.1 GHz, which matches my CPU's base clock, it seems logical since I set a minimum power limit of 100%. I'm using CPU-Z to monitor my hardware stats.
Yes, when everything is set back to stock configurations, the stress test should run smoothly without any problems.
Yes, you set the overclocks to zero using MSi Afterburner and remove the XMP settings from the BIOS.
Keep XMP enabled but delete all other adjustments. Restart the BIOS to the standard settings and power it on.
