Problem with connecting the Razer Nari Essential headset to just one PC
I'm having trouble getting my headset to connect with other PCs. It doesn't appear as an output device. I've restarted the devices, ensured Windows is updated, run audio troubleshooting, confirmed the headset is powered on and charged, used various USB ports, and checked for corrupt drivers. The PCs can detect a connected USB when paired and even download drivers. I also noticed a blinking blue light on the headset when it's active.
I don't want to install any Razor bloatware like Synapse. The PC that supports the headset works fine without it. I think I should check Razor's forum for assistance, but I'm worried they might ask me to install their software.
Here are the details of the PCs that function properly:
- Ryzen 7 3700X
- 32GB DDR4 @3600 MT/s, CL16
- RX 5700 XT
The two PCs that don't work are:
- Ryzen 7 5800X
- 32GB DDR4 @3600 CL16
- RX 6700 XT
Acer Nitro AN517-52
RAM upgraded to 16GB (3200 MT/s)
You may wish to check the default audio output device in Sound Manager. For relevance, consider including the spec of your PC, as it contains more than just the CPU, RAM, and GPU. The details provided for your laptop are acceptable since the SKU reveals what is included in its shell. It might help to reinstall the chipset drivers manually on both the PC and laptop to see if that resolves the problem. It appears the issue could be related to the drivers.
