Hello everyone. My family member provided me with a Lenovo Carbon X1 6th Gen laptop that won’t charge. I’ve tried various wall ports and chargers, removed the battery but had no success. The power cable isn’t turning on at all—normally an amber light appears next to the charger port during charging, which isn’t happening here. I’ve learned that drivers or firmware updates can sometimes help, but since the battery is at 0% and no charger works, I can’t install any updates. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

It appears the issue is with the charging port itself. Is it the Lenovo charging port or just the USB-C connection?

The primary connection uses USB-C, while the adjacent port appears to be an SS USB port featuring a battery icon with a plus sign—this seems to be Lenovo’s charging connector.

It’s built for charging other gadgets using the laptop’s built-in power when it’s off, not the reverse.
