This situation is quite puzzling. I returned my Acer S7-392 to Acer thinking about a battery issue, but upon receiving it, I had to reinstall the operating system anyway. After reinstalling everything I could think of—including all runtimes—I still face problems with Google Chrome. It doesn’t register clicks on buttons meant to adjust settings. Instead, it displays a hand gesture and updates the link address at the bottom left, but nothing happens when clicked. The site functions perfectly in IE and Firefox, yet not in Chrome. The most frustrating part is www.acura.com; even when clicking MDX at the top, options don’t change in Chrome. This description might be a bit unclear, but I’m really upset.

Chrome problems can really be annoying. I recommend removing everything from Chrome completely before trying to reinstall. Pay special attention to deleting the directories under C:\Program Files (x86). Also, uninstall "Google Update" since it often comes along with Chrome and can cause lingering issues. Clear your app data folder at C:\users\Your Name\app data\Google, which is hidden—use Folder Options > View > Show Hidden files. Run a cleanup tool like CCleaner and restart the computer before reinstalling.

I relied on Chrome for a while, but then issues started occurring and it would crash unpredictably. I changed to Firefox and haven't experienced any similar problems yet.

I attempted Mujteba's fix but it didn't resolve the issue. After reinstalling, the same problem persisted. The issue appears only on this machine using Chrome, not other devices. I'm considering switching to Firefox, though the Google account integration across all four computers makes Chrome the clear option.
