Building specs: meshify C with excellent airflow
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
CPU Cooler: Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 250W
Mobo: AsRock b450 Pro 4
A few days back I achieved an overclock of [email protected] to post, then played a game for five minutes before sleeping. I also ran it in Prime95 at 95% and got good results without any issues. The next morning I stopped posting, so I left it at default until today when I decided to try again. Here are my attempts and outcomes. I suspect something is missing. My BIOS settings have fans set to the desired mode and XMP enabled. That forms the foundation I always follow. Then I enter OC tweaker, switch the top overclock mode to manual, adjust clock speed and core voltage in CPU settings, keeping SOC as manual.

In Ryzen Master I can set clocks much higher, pass Prime95, and run c-bench15 smoothly from BIOS, but when using BIOS I fail. I believe I’m missing a setting in the BIOS. My first PC was built, and I aim to push my R5 to its maximum safe performance. It comes with a powerful cooler and knows it can go further. What am I misconfiguring in the BIOS?

Hello!
I'm checking whether the CMOS is being cleared or default reset prior to every output control attempt.

It's unclear what BIOS settings are being used, and whether it might be a motherboard or power supply unit. Check the temperatures as well.
