The automatic brightness feature isn't functioning on my 13" MacBook Pro Mid-2012. It's using the newest macOS version, 10.14.3. The sensor is working properly, but it worked well on Windows too after installing it there.

Consider another user setup and verify functionality. Also, run `sudo kextcache -i /`.
