windows isn't transmitting audio. I've used a USB optical audio jack too, and all our tests with Keysight oscilloscopes showed no basic troubleshooting progress.

When you activate the volume mixer, the green level indicators fluctuate up and down. This behavior can assist in determining whether the issue stems from hardware or software.

What equipment are you using? Are there any external speakers or headphones connected? I’m assuming the system is routing audio somewhere, but it might not be playing clearly. When you access the volume settings in the tray, what options appear under the devices list?

I'm using just one device that produces sound, which is a Keysight oscilloscope, and it's connected in a shutdown mode.

Ensure additional devices appear in the audio menu within the system tray. When you change to your onboard audio and connect headphones via the headphone jack, does it function properly?
