So, ive asked for help in the past but no one could help me, im gonna try again. A year ago i bought a used z270f strix board, it looks great and used to work great with my 7400 for a while then it started having issues and 90% of the issues were related to boot. Bear in mind that ive changed each and every component in my pc including the case but never my motherboard. Problems occur when i turn off my pc and leave it for at least 5 minutes turned off (theres still power the led is on) and if I wont be able to turn it back on. im gonna list all the issues ive had. -Wont boot if i shut down the pc -Mostly CPU light and ram light stays on on each boot (1 each turn) -turns on, fan spin but no display - Boot to BIOS but won't detect my SSDs (but will detect my 2xm2 nvme) - I tried breadbordng my motherboard also no hope. -Even if i short the power pins it wont turn on. Sometimes it do turn on if i press the power button but most of the time it wont (9/10 no joke). sometimes but rarely the pc will turn on on its own (i wake up the next day the pc is on) My solution was to always leave my pc on and i did that for the past 4 month. i never turned it down and it works super great when its on i can overclock, work, play games. I just want to be able to turn my pc off when i go to sleep and turn it back on the next day without having to break the computer. My BIOS is updated to the latest verion and i always do windows update. None of my hardware is defected as they all work when its on exept for the motherboard i think. Please help me fix this No there is no asus support here in lebanon and no i cannot afford a new motherboard as theres an economic crisis and we are all dying here so id rather die knowing i can turn my pc off.
