Problem with Asus R9 290 functioning correctly
I've been using an R9 290 for a while now, and it performed fine until I started seeing screen issues like horizontal and vertical stripes. During startup, the system would display loading files and then show the Windows 7 boot-up logo. I've tried the GPU on two different PCs—one with an FX 6300 DDR3 and another with an i5 9600K RX 590 running DDR4—and the same problem persists. Even after reinstalling the GPU drivers, the stripes continue, and after updating core voltage, the errors still appear instead of just vertical stripes. I checked afterburner stats but don’t have access to them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
when i install the amd drivers the gpu keeps looping and after removing it from the pc it doesn’t work anymore
The card is inactive or failing. The classic Windows 7 startup screen looks unusual, though.
